I am in a real need of a laptop. Seriously, that crap of a desktop is going to kill my lookers. And I love my lookers. When I asked my friend if I should get myself a cheap Apple laptop or does it suck too much, what I got as a response was:

I'm an Apple user, and I find this video hilariously funny.
But - I still find Apple immeasurably easier to use and more productive than Windows.
I'm thinking of switching to Ubuntu. *shrug* Windows sucks, too.
I did the Linux thing for two years before I went to Mac. I don't regret it, but I also don't regret having bought a Mac. But - if you're not ready to belly up to the Steve Jobs money trough and drop your load of greenbacks, Ubuntu may be the best route to go to ease yourself out of the Windows world.
"Drop my load of greenbacks"? Ckl. I just love it when people think I actually have real honest-to-god money.
As for the easing my way out if the Windows world... Well, I sure am trying to crawl my way out of it for a while already. If we didn't live in a Windows world, I'd bitch slap it goodbye a long time ago.
LOL - this video is so funny - I'm a Window user and find Macs mind-boggling. I can never figure out where anything goes, or how anything works. So I pretty much stick to regular ol' Windows.
Though they do say Ubuntu runs circles around Windows - what to you think?

I don't know, myself. I only used Windows so far (thankfully, not Windows Vista), and I want to partially switch to Ubuntu. When I try it (what the hell?), I'll blog about it!
